This is an update for FSX of the Alphasim RA-5C Vigilante made for FS9. I have given it a 2-D panel and put gauges on the virtual cockpit so both look similar. Best of all, the hud shows properly in the VC. I have adjusted the flight dynamics some as well. This is the whole aircraft.

unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft folder to the airplanes folder. Copy the gauges and effects to the main FS gauges and effects folders.

There is an overhead icon to the right of the radar gauge on both the 2D cockpit and VC. It is there so you have a reference. Just over it you can change the radar range from 40 to 10 miles and back. Just under the overhead icon you can change the radar mode. One of the modes is radar off.

If you have not already done so, copy the .cab files from the default aircraft panel folders that have them to the main FS gauges folder. For some the .cab flies will be .zip files, as .cab files are a type of zip file.

For most aircraft it is usually best to approach and touch down faster than just above stall speed. For this aircraft approach at about 140 indicated till short final, for a touch down at about 120 knots.

See [reference speeds] section of the aircraft.cfg file for operating speeds.

Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them.
